Junior Gan Israel Day Camp

Bright Beginnings Program

For our younger campers, ages 2-3.

From water and outdoor play to art and music, these young campers are introduced to a broad range of enriching activities in a setting created just for them. Our early childhood professionals are warm and loving, and focus on developing your child's motor skills and social interactions at an appropriate level.

Mindful of their tender age, our Bright Beginners do not go on field trips or swim at Oakton Water Playground, and their day ends at 12:00 or 1:00 (dismissal time must be arranged in advance). With flexible days and hours, you can customize your little one's camp attendance to best suit his needs.

Bright Beginnings children are to be picked up at 12:00, or may stay for lunch and get picked up at 1:00 with the older children.  Staying until 1:00 must be arranged in advance with the Director or the Division Head.

The Bright Beginnings program is especially for our younger campers, ages 2 - 3.

Children ages 2½ to 3 may be enrolled in either the Bright Beginnings or Expanding Horizons program.

The Bright Beginnings program has the following special features:

  • Children may attend 2, 3, or 5 days per week.
  • The staff-child ratio is lower.
  • Children are to be picked up at 12:00, or may stay for lunch and get picked up at 1:00 with the older children.  Staying until 1:00 must be arranged in advance with the Director or the Division Head
  • Our Bright Beginners do not go on field trips or to swim at Oakton Water Playground.

At the Bright Beginnings Program, each day is full of crafts, indoor and outdoor fun, and a broad range of enriching activities.
